Now that the craziness of December has passed, it's time to try to get this blog updated a bit. We'll do a little at a time...
What do you do in the wintertime when the snow really starts coming down, it's a Sunday afternoon, and Mommy and Daddy aren't feeling 100%? Beg to go play in the snow, apparently.
Ailey kept asking and asking to go play in the snow, but since it was a Sunday, December 9 to be exact, and I wasn't feeling good so I couldn't go out with her I really tried to keep telling her no and getting her involved in something else. She wasn't going to let it rest, so I finally relented and made sure she stayed in the backyard.

Over the course of the next half hour, the little boys decided they'd like to go outside as well. So I let them go play in the front yard.
By the time about an hour had passed from the time Ailey first went out, all five kids had been out there. I didn't get a picture of everyone out there, because like I said, I wasn't feeling well and had decided to rest a bit.
Shaylyn and Ailey are definitely our lovers of the outdoors and lasted the longest. Lex would be next and can last almost as long as Shaylyn as long as he is entertained. Nate would follow and his attention span just depends on the day. Tanis is most like his mother and only enjoys being in the cold for a very limited amount of time.

A few days later Ailey ran an errand with her Dad, she came home, Eric sat her on the couch to bring in some groceries and within minutes, she looked like this:
Sometimes you can only last so long...
