I always like to get the kids shirts for Christmas. It seems more festive to have something Christmasey to wear on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Eric's mom needed my help in choosing some clothes for Shaylyn for her Christmas 'dress', so we took a day and went shopping. While we were shopping, I came across a shirt that I loved for Shaylyn, but had no luck for anyone else. It wasn't a lost cause and we were heading to at least a couple more stores, so I thought I'd look there.
Our next stop was at Target. I found shirts for Ailey and the boys without a whole lot of trouble. There wasn't a whole lot of choice for Ailey or Jace however and just settled on Snoopy themed shirts. Part of that was when Eric's mom told me that his Dad loved Snoopy. We decided we needed to use those shirts for the little kids.
I wasn't really looking for Eric, because it's not really his 'thing', but while walking through the store we found a fun Star Wars (Yoda) themed shirt that would be perfect for him. However, it wasn't in the men's section and there was only one shirt there and it wasn't in Eric's size. So we headed over to the men's section to look for the shirt in Eric's size. We struck out. There was no Yoda shirt in Eric's size. We found a couple other options and finally decided on a Grinch shirt. It was perfect because it went perfectly with the little boys shirts and they said the same thing.
With everyone else having a shirt we decided I needed one too. We ran to the Women's section and found a Grinch shirt for me as well. We thought about going back to each section to find everyone a Grinch themed shirt, but then quickly remembered that we had bought Shaylyn's shirt at another store and she already didn't really 'match'. We also couldn't get rid of the Snoopy shirts. We felt it'd be a nice tribute to Grandpa.

Because Eric's mom was with me when we bought the shirts, she wanted to get some pictures. She also wanted pictures to put on her mom's calendar for her Christmas present. So we went over on a Sunday afternoon and took some pictures.
The kids cooperated wonderfully and we got some great, great pictures.
