ANXIETY

Yup, that picture pretty much summarizes how I feel lately.
Life is making me feel very anxious lately and here's a few reasons why:

• ERIC'S JOB - Due to some crazy happenings that happened at Eric's current job on Monday, he is now looking for a new job. Thankfully, he still has his job - but with what happened it is time for him to leave. While he needs to get out now, it is obviously a scary time for it all to go down.


• INSURANCE ISSUES - With Eric looking for a new job the stress of insurance comes up as well. I am worried as heck that whatever new job he gets my doctor won't accept that insurance and that is a HUGE deal to me. I am very happy with my current doctor and I really, really don't want to switch doctors this far into pregnancy.


• MEDICAL BILLS - While I adore my doctor, I am annoyed at the way the office runs, sorta. We used to have 3 months after the baby was born to pay off the doctor - which would be great for us. However, since Nate was born they've changed things and now we owe the doctor's office x amount of dollars every month up until the baby is born so that when the baby is born the doctor will be paid off. We had planned to pay all hospital and doctor bills for this baby with our Tax Return, but now we've got to come up with said x amount of dollars every month. x amount of dollars that we really don't have.


• FAMILY ISSUES - Issues I didn't even know existed, which stresses me out even more.


• POST OFFICE - I ordered stamps to send off Shaylyn's baptism invites 1 WEEK AGO and I still have yet to see said stamps. Shaylyn's baptism is in a week from Saturday! I usually get stamps within 2 days of ordering them, so I am wondering where the heck they are. And if they got delivered to the wrong address, we are out $20 bucks! And that makes me MAD. If the stamps aren't delivered tomorrow, I'm gonna have to have Eric go buy some at an actual post office and we will be out even more money!

So, yes....I'm feeling really anxious and stressed out right now. I know that all of these issues are fairly minor and in time it'll all work itself out, but for now, at times, it seems quite a bit overwhelming!

Rants & Raves

So, yesterday I was all prepped to make a post on some "RANTS" that have been going through my head...

But, then I got busy FINALLY finishing the update on the family website (It's taken a week or so this time around because of changes), so the blog went ignored.

Yesterday, I also had a nice conversation with the hubby about where some of my unhappiness is coming from and we have made plans to hopefully change that. But with those plans comes LOTS of work and lots of thinking and prayer.

Then, this morning I read such a lovely post made by my 2nd cousins wife. Yeah, I think that's the relationship...She just also happens to be the daughter of my HS music teacher...Small world. Anyway, her post was so "positive" that I decided to leave my rants behind and focus on a few of my raves at the moment. Thanks Ashley.

- I am LOVING 2 maternity shirts given to me (even though I don't quite need them yet) by my BIL's girlfriend and MIL. I HATE maternity clothes, so saying that I actually love something - that's big news.

- I LOVE watching Nate's personality bloom more each day. He is getting to be so fun to watch.

- I LOVE Glee...Okay, maybe not so much the acting or the story lines - but the music and oh.... Mr. Shue!

- I LOVE the fact that my lil' sis and I get to have babies so close together.

- I LOVE sweets, a little too much.

- I LOVE music.

- I LOVE that my hubby is so patient with me.

- I LOVE sleep. Especially nights where Nate will sleep until 5 - yes, that's considered a good night.

- I LOVE me time.

- I LOVE a good bath or shower.

- I LOVE Photographs.

- I LOVE the smell of rain.

What Happens Next...

Shocker!!!

On Tuesday we had THE ultrasound.

I totally went in expecting to hear the words, "It's a boy," and well....

(Baby's Profile - I love that the arm is up by the face...)

Instead, I heard the words, "It looks like it's a girl." I'm still not sure it's right, but Eric says it is and what do I know? I can never really see well on these ultrasounds anyway.

All I know is that we are excited and this little girl already has a name. We've had another girl's name picked out for YEARS and never really thought we'd get to use it. And no, I'm not saying what it is.

I am also pretty suprised because it seems that everyone in this ward who is pregnant at the moment is having girls. I was convinced that meant that I would be having a boy.

Anyway, just thought I'd update the blog and let those who hadn't heard by now, hear.
