Ever since Tanis got braces, Shaylyn has wanted them. I don't think she really knew what to expect, she just felt left out or something. Guess it didn't help that her friends had them as well.
Every dentist appointment, they'd look at her teeth to see if she was ready for braces. She kept getting put aside as she still had some baby teeth that they felt needed to be lost first.
We got a promotional ad for another orthodontist in the area and so we figured we'd take her into him to see what he thought. He didn't there was any issue in getting the braces on her sooner rather than later - so we got her all set up.
Eric took Shaylyn to her consultation, but I got to take her to the appointment where she actually got them.
